Camp B BAR B
B BAR B offers children a unique opportunity to spend quality time learning all kinds of things. During the summer months, we invite your children to attend Camp B BAR B. The camp runs from Sunday (check-in) through Friday (check-out). Activities, lodging and all meals are included in the price.
Also included in the camp is Leon Measure's famous "Shoot Where You Look" shooting seminar. Mr. Measures prides himself in teaching future shooters/hunters safety while still having fun in the sport.
The kids seem to really enjoy this seminar, especially the girls!
Other activities that are a part of Camp B-Bar-B are: Basic Dog Training, Snake Identification, Wildlife Adventures, Compass Scavenger Hunt, Swimming, Tug of War, Water Balloons and Silly String fights, Owl Prowls, Skeet Shooting, Hunting Safety Course (age 12 & up), Crafts, Cooking Classes and much, much more! This past summer the kids especially loved the snake identification class. They got to hold and interact with snakes, lizards, spiders and toads! Yes, the girls loved this too! We would love to have your child/children be our guest for Camp B-Bar-B.
'Lil Chefs B-Bar-B
Throughout the year, we also offer cooking camps including a holiday cooking camp. B-Bar-B's own chef teaches the camp. Each class is approximately 3 hours long. The children learn basic kitchen safety and start out with some simple recipes. Each student gets to sample (or take home) his or her preparations for that day. Each student also gets their very own chefs hat and an apron with their name embroidered on it. Call us for dates and more details! 361-296-3331
